ALTEN & Dassault Systèmes: Powering Digital Engineering
Jul 07,2025

At the 2025 Paris Air Show, ALTEN and Dassault Systèmes officially signed a Systems Integrator & Consulting Alliance Agreement, marking the beginning of a new global collaboration. Through this partnership, ALTEN becomes a certified integrator of Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform. The two companies will deepen their technical cooperation across key industries—starting with aerospace—bringing model-based, cloud-enabled, end-to-end digital engineering to life at scale.

The milestone marks a significant expansion of ALTEN’s presence in the global PLM ecosystem and represents a major advance toward agile, integrated, and value-driven engineering solutions.

Transform Together: Harnessing Platforms for End-to-End Value

As product complexity grows and global collaboration becomes the norm, expectations around digital platforms and system integration continue to rise. ALTEN’s certified access to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform now enables the team to:

Rapidly launch proof-of-concept (PoC) projects, significantly reducing time-to-value

Accelerate consultant certification through the 3DEXPERIENCE Academy, strengthening internal expertise

Support collaborative design, system modeling, and consistent data flows across departments—from concept to delivery

Clients experience faster product development cycles, smoother cross-functional collaboration, and tangible tools that support sustainability goals with measurable outcomes.

Engineering for Tomorrow: From Technical Expertise to Systems Thinking

Product development cycles have been accelerated and cross-functional collaboration has been enhanced through this collaboration, while quantifiable and traceable engineering tools have also been provided to support green and sustainable goals. Its impact goes beyond optimizing delivery methods—it drives a profound evolution in the roles and skillsets of engineers. Powered by the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, engineers are transitioning from executing isolated tasks to becoming key drivers of system-wide collaboration—they not only perform multi-dimensional modeling and virtual validation but also enable efficient teamwork across departments. For ALTEN, this means engineers can engage earlier in project planning and deeply integrate technology and value throughout the entire product lifecycle—from design and simulation to testing and operation. Engineering capabilities are thus advancing from solving isolated problems to building seamless end-to-end processes, becoming a critical force in driving the development of intelligent industries.

Towards Next-Generation PLM: Co-Creating “System as a Service”

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is evolving from a purely technical system into a strategic business enabler that underpins organizational agility and cross-team collaboration. In parallel, our partnership with clients is shifting from simply delivering platforms to actively co-driving transformative change. Through our alliance with Dassault Systèmes, ALTEN is committed to advancing the next generation of PLM solutions across key industries such as aerospace and transportation—helping businesses not only upgrade their tools but also reinvent their workflows, mindsets, and organizational structures.

At ALTEN, we’re committed to empowering forward-thinking engineers with a platform that bridges technical practice and personal development, expanding the horizon of meaningful careers in digital engineering. As technology continues to redefine boundaries, we believe true engineering value lies in connecting systems, people and long-term purpose—and that engineers with the power to integrate, collaborate and deliver will shape the future of intelligent industries.

Stay tuned to ALTEN for deep insights into industry practices, innovation catalysts and the future landscape of digital engineering.
