Three years ago, I stood at a crossroads in my life, forming my own family and preparing to welcome a new life into the world. In my role as a system test engineer, I play a crucial part in analyzing requirements, configuring test environments, executing tests, and generating comprehensive test reports. My focus extends to identifying and resolving issues during the testing phase, working closely with developers to validate design functionalities, and ensuring the timely rollout of products.

To continuously improve and stay ahead, I actively engage in self-directed learning by studying pertinent documentation. This commitment to ongoing education empowers me to expand my knowledge base and excel in my responsibilities.

[05:17] the biggest challenge in my job 

Handling agile development projects presents some of the most significant challenges in my work. These projects are characterized by short delivery cycles and frequent requirement changes, which can compress testing timelines and make it challenging to maintain high-quality testing standards.

To address these challenges effectively, I approach them with a positive mindset and adjust my strategies accordingly. I focus on rational resource allocation by assigning multiple test engineers to work on different functional modules simultaneously. Additionally, I prioritize critical functional modules to ensure they receive thorough testing, allowing less critical functions to transition to subsequent versions for validation. This streamlined approach helps ensure project delivery on schedule despite the dynamic nature of Agile projects.

The manufacturing industry is a broad field with many specialized areas. For example, system testing, which I am engaged in, is one of them. I suggest that newcomers should intern at a large platform before the selection of segmented industries. This allows them to understand the industry better and interact with many excellent colleagues, enabling them to learn deeper and broader. Additionally, at work, it"s important to be proactive and strengthen communication skills, which can promote one"s job. Lastly, it"s crucial to find one"s real passion. For instance, if you"re more interested in software, you can explore software development. After gaining some work experience, you can decide which specialized area you want to focus on in the future. In summary, getting started and then mastering it, choosing the right platform and opportunities for yourself is key.

[10:19] If given another chance, would you choose your current job

I am extremely satisfied with my current job. Firstly, the employee benefits and training provided by ALTEN are comprehensive and valuable. Additionally, the working environment is stable and conducive to productivity, even though I work as a dispatched engineer at the client"s office. I have built strong relationships with both my clients and ALTEN colleagues.
