Job Responsibilities
1. Appointed by the management team, follow the company’s C40/GDPEP processes to manage and control engineering projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, with a focus on the three core dimensions of time, quality, and cost (including BOM and NRE).
2. Deliver engineering process documents and other work products in accordance with the development process and Automotive SPICE standards.
3. Collaborate with engineering team members to coordinate and oversee prototype manufacturing during the development phase.
4. Provide technical support to EPS system engineers and TEE engineers in the stages of diagnosis and vehicle calibration.
5. Assist validation engineers in completing DVP/PVP validation work.
6. Act as the representative of the engineering department to conduct interface coordination and communication with customers, suppliers, and internal functional teams within the project.
7. Provide technical services to customers, including feasibility studies, assembly support, production launch, and troubleshooting.
8. Analyze customer product requirements during the RFQ phase and output technical solutions to support new business development.
9. Compile technical solutions and engineering parts lists, and deliver them to the CQA team to support the implementation of business cases.
10. Supervise and coordinate the project engineering team to promote and deliver engineering tasks in accordance with the company’s development process, ensuring the achievement of project time, cost, and quality objectives.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Materials Science, Project Management, or a related technical field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical/mechatronic components/systems/assemblies in the automotive industry. Experience as an application engineer is preferred.
3. Hands-on experience with automotive mechanical/mechatronic products. Experience in the chassis field is a plus.
4. Proficiency in reading mechanical/mechatronic engineering drawings.
5. Strong capabilities in system failure analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
6. Understanding of automotive industry quality systems (e.g., PPAP, MSA, APQP, FMEA, etc.).
7. Knowledge of CAN bus or vehicle electronic component development is preferred.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Outstanding English oral and written communication skills. Experience in overseas projects is preferred.
10. Proactive learning attitude, strong self-discipline, and a responsible work ethic. Ability to work under tight deadlines and high pressure.
11. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
