Job Responsibilities

1. Software Project Management:

Take full responsibility for the entire lifecycle of software release projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.

Promote project handover and transition in accordance with requirements.

Forecast and maintain software engineering-related activities in the ViewForecast system.

Manage and track the process quality and project metrics of the software domain within projects (ESSE process).

2. Software Project Resource Management:

Plan and manage software engineering resources with the support of functional team leaders.

Track and evaluate the job performance of project team members.

Track and measure the delivery performance of third parties/partners in projects.

3. Software Change and Release Management:

Promote internal software change requests (ICR), build plans, release management, and committee review processes.

Conduct software deviation management (Software Deviation Engineering Approval).

Initiate and track company-internal driven software change requests (ECR).

Create, track, and manage internal software change orders, build plans, and release approval requests in the RTC system.

4. Software Configuration Management:

Manage the configuration of software-related configuration systems such as RIMS, RTC, and GC.

Fulfill the role of Software Configuration Manager within projects.

5. Software Risk and Issue Management:

Manage software issues and delivery risks reported by stakeholders.

Process software anomalies/defects in the defect management system.

6. Software Engineering Improvement:

Support the improvement of software project management processes in the Software Process Working Group.

Support the improvement of software application engineering processes in the Software Process Working Group.

Provide optimization suggestions for the organization’s software process improvement activities.

7. Software Quality Assurance:

Act as the dedicated interface for eAPQP in software engineering activities.

Create, track, and complete software FCC/ICC corrective actions in the eQMS system.

8. Software Application Engineering:

Collaborate with product managers to complete software application-related work, including customer requirement analysis, software merging and smoke testing, preparation of delivery materials and documents. Meanwhile, coordinate work with APTC and system engineers.
