Hardware Engineer (Power Electronics)




Job Responsibilities
1. Design and develop power electronics hardware for UPS systems, including power circuits, inverters, rectifiers, and chargers.
2. Create schematics and conduct circuit design based on product specifications.
3. Select and evaluate power electronic components to ensure reliability and performance compliance.
4. Perform simulation (analog/digital) to validate designs and optimize performance.
5. Develop test plans for product verification (EMC, safety, reliability) and execute rigorous testing.
6. Collaborate with software engineers on system integration and resolve hardware-related issues.
7. Lead technical analysis, design optimization, and troubleshooting for UPS systems.
Requirements
1. Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
2. Experience: 5+ years in power electronics design, preferably in UPS or power supply products.
3. Skills:
- Proficient in analog/digital circuit design with strong theoretical knowledge.
- In-depth understanding of UPS standards (performance, safety, EMC) and application requirements.
- Expertise in component selection (e.g., magnetics), thermal design, and loss calculation.
- Familiarity with PCB layout rules and PCBA design constraints.
- Experience in inverter performance analysis and debugging.
