Key Responsibilities

1. As a layout engineer, collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete PCB design and resolve related issues;

2. Maintain a strong quality awareness in PCB design to drive effective problem-solving;

3. Cooperate with suppliers and PCBA manufacturing facilities to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and address relevant issues from suppliers and PCB factories;

4. Lead PCB-related innovation initiatives alongside other team members;

5. Ensure the delivery of PCBs and relevant documentation meets schedule and quality requirements.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Microelectronics or related disciplines;

2. Over 5 years of working experience as a PCB Layout Engineer in industry-related companies;

3. Sound understanding of UPS systems and professional knowledge of various PCB types, including high-speed PCBs and high-power PCBs;

4. Familiar with the core product development processes in either the Waterfall model or Agile model;

5. Mandatory advanced proficiency in Cadence tools;

6. Mandatory knowledge of power supply PCBs;

7. Essential skills in high-speed PCB design;

8. Advanced knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, including surface finish, trace dimensions, stack-up design and circuit board materials;

9. In-depth understanding of PCBA industry constraints on PCB design;

10. In-depth knowledge of EMC, EMI and safety requirements for PCB design;

11. Basic knowledge of UPS-related electrical engineering principles;

12. In-depth understanding of ICT testing constraints;

13. Advanced knowledge of SI and PI simulation is preferred.
